Disabled target shooting in its various forms has grown extensively over recent years, with more and more people taking part. Many shooting sports are now recognized Paralympic and Commonwealth Games sporting disciplines.
Our facilities at the Lord Roberts Centre are fully ‘disabled and wheel chair friendly’. NSRA qualified Instructors are on hand to help facilitate disabled shooting and welcome the opportunity to introduce people with physical limitations to a new ‘sport for life’..
Simply let us know in advance if you have a disability and wish to come shooting, or if you are planning to bring a group of disabled people along, please contact the centre beforehand and we will then make sure the right staff are on hand to welcome you and organise your session.
Small-bore target shooting is a truly safe and enjoyable sport for all, so whether you want to ‘have a go’ at the sport for the first time to see if it’s the right activity for you, or if you wish to hone your shooting skills on our excellent range facilities, The LRC is the place to come.
The NSRA is committed to encouraging and supporting the development of a wider range of shooting disciplines for blind and visually impaired people. We are looking forward to offering this opportunity soon at the LRC and welcome enquiries from blind and visually impaired groups or individuals, who would like to take part in this increasingly popular activity.
Do let us know if you are interested and we will come back to you with further information.
To book a ‘Try a Shoot’, corporate or group shooting experience contact the LRC on 01483 485522 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
